Fantastic little restaurant! The service was excellent and the food was really good. My group all had filets and they were all great. Make sure to try and get a reservation!
My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at The Alpine and it was absolutely perfect! Kendra and the team at the Alpine are so easy to work with and made all of our wishes come true, from the cigar bar, the sparkler send off, and the assorted desert table, they made our night better than we could have hoped! Dan and his team in the kitchen knocked it out of the park with our food and we received compliment after compliment. The Alpine will be a place we come back and visit frequently.
The food is delicious. The staff is friendly. The views up there is awesome.
Service was fantastic. Out server was very attentive and right on the spot when needed. Bean soup was delicious and twisted braid honey bread terrific . Our food was outstanding. Steaks were done perfectly, medium rare for me, medium for my brother in law. My wife's salmon was fantastic! Sister in law's shrimp was amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant! And we will be back.
The staff is great and the food was exceptionally delicious. The cabins are warm and cozy. It has a small kitchen and fridge with all the utensils needed. You can even order food and take it back to the cabin. There is a camp ground close by with a creek and trails for the adventists! The town has pretty of small shops as well.
They have really perfected making really good dishes. It was my wife and our first anniversary and we celebrated it by hiking music Pass. That was our priority and I forgot to get a reservation but luckily we came just early enough where the sat is in the corner and gave us exceptional hospitality and service. I would highly recommend you get a reservation as they get fully packed. Don’t forget to try the brownie.
The cabins were exactly what we sought. Great location close to the Venable / Comanche trail heads. Had two wonderful hikes up into the Sangre de Christo wilderness using this as our well-appointed base. Kitchen was adequate, shower was hot, bed was clean and firm, and the views back over the valley and the Wet Mountains were delightful. We had dinner from the restaurant, too - ribs, trout, and fried chicken in ample portion. Recommended after a long hike!
